In His Time; A Legacy to Share

Have you ever thought about your legacy?  This has appeared to be, one of my themes, for a long, long time.  It is a deep desire that what my life leaves behind will encourage not cause hinder a fellow woman believer or seeker.

Even if, like myself, your first forty years were basicall wasted and full of self-hate, having of little value and worth, nothing in your past or present cannot be made new and used by our gracious Lord.In od says: "He will make all things beautiful, "In His time." "   This song which is my tribute to Christ in my going home celebration.

As I reflect upon ; Romans 12:1-22 Corinthians 2: 12-17 and 3: 1-3, and allow the truth found in these verses; I ry to turn it inward as it relates to me, for I am burdened to leave behind a life some what tranformed, renewed by Christ, and guided by the Word of God.  As one enters into the "golden years" memories can fail, but my life in Christ fuels this blog.

This new personhood has taught me much, broken me many times, and renewed the my inner person Christ so desires me to be.  Please,  do not think I have arrived fall.   I fail Him daily and fall short of who He desires me to be; like Him. (Romans 8:29)  How about you?  Have you failed Him? Do you allow Him to break you of those sins and bad habits that seem to keep you in bondage?

If you answered yes to either question, as I have then you may be asking , where do we go from here?  How can this turn around?  Can or will Christ forgive me?  Can He turn this "sows ear"  into a silk purse or rather a vessel for hIs honor?  The answer is unnamimously yes!   How?  Read and Believe the Word od God.  First: are you born from above?  Second: Do you read and trust the God's Word?  Third: Will you now bend, yes bend your will to His?

Transformation is ongoing, some things happen right away, but molded and shaped into His image takes time, trials, failures, successes, and letting go.  Hard, yes, but so worth the oucome.May my Lord bless you as you ponder this messgae.
